Jee Maths Formula PDF Summary

Here are some formulas-

  • Quadratic Formula: For a quadratic equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0, the solutions for x can be found using the formula: x = (-b ± √(b^2 – 4ac)) / (2a)
  • Distance Formula: The distance between two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) in a Cartesian plane is given by: d = √((x2 – x1)^2 + (y2 – y1)^2)
  • Trigonometric Ratios:
    • Sine (sin) = Opposite/Hypotenuse
    • Cosine (cos) = Adjacent/Hypotenuse
    • Tangent (tan) = Opposite/Adjacent
  • Pythagorean Identities:
    • sin^2θ + cos^2θ = 1
    • 1 + tan^2θ = sec^2θ
    • 1 + cot^2θ = cosec^2θ
  • Logarithmic Properties:
    • log(ab) = log(a) + log(b)
    • log(a/b) = log(a) – log(b)
    • log(a^n) = nlog(a)
  • Derivative Formulas:
    • Power Rule: d/dx(x^n) = nx^(n-1)
    • Chain Rule: d/dx(f(g(x))) = f'(g(x)) * g'(x)
    • Product Rule: d/dx(f(x)g(x)) = f'(x)g(x) + f(x)g'(x)
