SSC CPO Sub Inspector (SI) 2020 Physical Standard Test (PST)

SSC CPO Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and CAPFs 2020 Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) : SSC has released the notification of CPO Sub Inspector (SI) 2020 and Exams date is also fixed but Physical test date is not announced yet. You can go through the SSC CPO SI Syllabus and Previous years Question paper to understand the said examination pattern so that you can crack the Tier 1 exam to qualify for Physical Test.

After successfully qualifying the CPO SI Tier 1 (Prelims) Exam, you are eligible for CPO SI Physical Test.

As you know, Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and CAPFs Exam notification is released by Staff selection commission every year. Its great opportunity to crack CPO SI 2020 for those who wish to join Delhi Police and CAPFs Posts (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB) as Sub-Inspectors or Assistant Sub Inspector.

Some of you may not be aware of CPO and CAPFs full forms – CPO is stand for Central Police Organisation (CPO) and CAPFs is stand for Central Armed Police Forces.

Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET)

SSC CPO 2020 Recruitment consists of 4 phases :- 1st Phase is Paper-I (CPO SI Tier 1) Prelims Exam, 2nd Phase – Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), 3rd Phase – Paper-II – English Language and Comprehension and 4th Phase – Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Recommendation for the candidates to keep themselves physically and mentally fit so you can qualify the Physical Test easily.

Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts):

1. For male candidates:

100 metre race in 16 seconds
1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chance
Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Male candidates

2. For female candidates:

100 metre race in 18 seconds
800 metre race in 4 minutes
Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances
Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Female candidates

Other Important Key Points

Chest measurement for female candidates : There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.

Relaxation in height and chest (as the case may be) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate in the Performa as prescribed in Annexure-VIII (Follow SSC CPO SI 2020 Official Notification) from the competent authorities of the District where they ordinarily reside(s).
The relaxation in physical standards (height/ chest) once granted at the time of initial appointment in Delhi Police will hold good till the individual concerned remains in Delhi Police.
Those candidates who are declared not qualified in Physical Standards, i.e. height and chest, may prefer an appeal, if they so desire, to the appellate authority present on the PET/ PST ground. The decision of the appellate authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained.
PST/ PET will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying/ elimination nature.
Ex-Servicemen applying for the posts are not required to undergo PET. However, all Ex-Servicemen are required to pass the written tests and fulfill the physical standards prescribed herein. They should also pass the medical standards prescribed for direct recruits.
